1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how David Alston, trading as 'Only One You' Pro Bio Pages, uses cookies and similar technologies on onlyone.you ("the Website").

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

We comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) as amended, the UK GDPR, and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website owner.

Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, and local storage.

3. How We Use Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies:

3.2. Functional Cookies: Platform Storage (Brizy Cloud — localStorage)

The Website is built using Brizy Cloud, which uses browser localStorage (not traditional cookies) to manage popup display logic. This data is stored entirely in your browser, is anonymous, and is never transmitted to any server.

Note: These localStorage entries do not collect personal data, are not shared with any third party, and are classified as anonymous statistical/functional storage. Under PECR, prior consent is not strictly required for storage that is necessary for the functioning of the service, though we list them here for full transparency.

3.3. Analytics / Performance Cookies

We do not currently use any analytics or performance cookies (e.g. Google Analytics). If this changes in future, this policy will be updated and consent will be obtained before any such cookies are set.

3.4. Marketing / Advertising Cookies

It may also stop you from saving customised settings like login information.
